Messy Boy

Liam's first finger-painting experience . . . I recently ordered and received First Art.  It is a book with art projects for one- to three-year-olds.  Since Liam has just turned one, I figured it would be fun to try out a few with him.  

One of the best things about the book are all the different recipes for traditional activities.  We all know how to finger paint . . . you put some paint on paper and put your fingers in it.  But, did you know that you can create your own paint in a variety of different ways?  There's even an easy clean-up version, which is what we used.

Liam didn't quite get the idea of finger painting and didn't take too kindly to having this blue stuff on his hands.  He kept trying to touch us.  We'll have to try it again in a couple of days to see if he gets the idea.
