A little bit of the sun and water

We're back from a week in Mexico.  It was warm and relaxing.  Well, as relaxing as it can be with a one-year-old.  Liam did great.  He slept well and ate well.  He was afraid of the water at the beginning of the week and loved it by the end of the week.  He still doesn't like having sun screen put on his face, but, then, who does.  

We stayed at the resort the entire time.  The town was about 30 minutes away by car and, having been there before without a baby, we decided that the trip wasn't worth it.  We enjoyed just lounging around, swimming, and eating.

Liam had a bucket of sand toys that kept him occupied while in the pool and we had a floating thing he could sit in and float in the big pool with us.  We have a pool at our house, so the floating thing will come in handy this summer (once the rain stops!).

Our one regret was not bringing more family with us.  It would have been more fun for Liam and more fun for us to have additional family along to play together and watch the boy so Jordan and I could have some time to ourselves.  Next time.
