Little Bags

The store where I bought my sewing machine offers free classes to people who bought their machines from that store.  I figured that I'd take them, since they are free and I could probably learn something new each class.  As with anything, some of the the things we make are my kind of thing and some are not.  I posted this bag that I had made there as my first project.  I use to daily for work.  Then, we went onto make a few other things that I haven't found to be my thing.

In December, we made these Amy Butler bags.  I finished the large one and most of the other two in class.  This week, I finished the smaller two, as part of my week of finishing projects.

They were pretty easy to construct.  The smallest was the fussiest, of course.  Like most Amy Butler patterns, the directions were clear and easy to follow.  I'm sure I'll find a permanent use for them soon.  For now, I keep trying them out for different purposes.
